Take a look at the labels on many conventional sprays. You’ll often find warnings like these — sometimes hidden in small print.
Fabric restrictions
“Do not use on fur or on garments that cannot be washed.”
Not safe for pets
“We recommend moving your pet birds to another room before spaying, until the area has been properly ventilated.”
Avoid delicate materials

You’ll also often see Globally Harmonised System (GHS) hazard icons, too — the same symbols used on industrial chemicals.
